I had the opportunity of visiting a member of the Harris family last night. He was kind enough to allow me to take pictures of the James and Matilda McCrary family bible.
James home is located in Bentonsport, Iowa and was build around 1850 with the assistance of the Mormon pioneers as they awaited their journey to Utah. This bible was his and was handed down through the generations, finally landing in the Harris family who are decendents of John Memorial McCrary. James is John Memorial McCrary's father.
