There is more to come family.

I have several more articles from old newspapers, books and such that gives us a peek into the lives of some of our distant relatives.  Unfortunately the computer that stores this info is down.  But in the near future you can look forward to some interesting stuff.
Just a little tidbit to chew on.  Our first America ancestor that is identified is William McCreary.  He came over on a ship from one of two places, either Ireland or Scotland.  He claimed to be of Scotland Highland decent.  He came over around 1720 and landed in New Castle Delaware.  He was a covenator or as we know them, a Presbyterian.  He traveled with his mother and brothers to America.  He settled near the disputed Maryland state line and headed west to The Manor of Maske in April 1740 where he settled land Near Conewago Church about 2 mile northeast of what is now Gettysburg.
He is NOT the William McCreary that has a will in the very late 1700's.
